It's not uncommon for many mobile DJs to pose as professionals, when they are usually nothing more than someone running their "business" in their spare time as a secondary source of income.
Unfortunately, it's usually with these types of mobile DJs that the problems occur. In the near future, we will expand on how to ensure that you've got a professional behind the music at your next event!

To: Cathie thanks for your comment, yes it's very important just think your sending alot of money on food, hall, decorations, and your time to put this all together and when you go out shopping for a D.J. and you just look for the cheapest one then I would have to say "buyer beware".
Your D.J. is there to entertain 100 to 150 people at one time wouldn't you want to hire a pro..? Someone that can read a crowd, mix the music right, play requests, and cater to your needs. Thats all experience and it's worth every penny..
P.S. same goes for you brides.. Don't just look at price, ask the right questions and you will see why hiring the right D.J. will be priceless. (especially when it's your biggest day).
Once again thanks and keep them coming. D.J.joe
